Motion Graphics

The term motion graphics covers an array of graphic elements, from animated titles on video to cartoon-like animations to animated icons. The animations on this page use a technology (lottie) that creates very light-weight animated elements that won’t bog down page load times with large image files and use basic browser capabilities to execute.

These animations were created with Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.

Lottie animations are not restricted to just line art. The Tudor Oval Associates logo at the top of every page on this website was also created as an active color animation. The instance in the page header only executes itself once, but these animations can execute a specific number of times or loop indefinitely, as shown here.
